Receipt Setup

Producing accurate tax receipts is essential for compliance and donor trust — but receipting season can be busy and overwhelming. Our Receipt Setup service ensures your receipting process is smooth, accurate, and ready on time.

We’ll configure your receipt templates, thank-you messages, and settings based on your requirements so you can issue receipts quickly and confidently.

Database Health Check

Our Executive Onboarding Session is a focused, high-value meeting designed specifically for new Executive Directors so they can quickly get oriented, confident, and empowered with Sumac.

In this 45-minute session, we walk new leaders through the tools they have, how their team is using them, and where there may be opportunities to strengthen internal processes or reporting.

During the session, we help new EDs:

• ✓ Understand what Sumac is and how it supports their mission
• ✓ Review how their staff are currently using the database
• ✓ Confirm that key reports, dashboards, and metrics are easy for them to access
• ✓ Spot gaps or inefficiencies in data entry, reporting, or workflows
• ✓ Ensure they feel supported and confident in their first weeks on the job

Personal Training

Personal Training is designed for organizations with unique needs or more complex questions. You’ll work directly with a Sumac specialist who focuses solely on your database, your workflows, and the goals you want to achieve.

Whether you need deeper instruction, clarification that goes beyond what’s covered in general training, or support optimizing your setup, Personal Training gives you customized, high-impact learning.

This service is ideal if you have:

• ✓ A highly customized or complex database
• ✓ Questions that didn’t get fully answered during onboarding or support calls
• ✓ In-depth or strategic questions about how to best use your software
• ✓ A desire to redesign or improve the way your team uses Sumac

Training is delivered remotely, with optional on-site sessions for an additional fee (travel and expenses apply). Personal Training is meant to complement your On-Demand Training experience.

Reimplementation

Reimplementation is for customers who want to clean up messy data, streamline workflows, or realign their database with updated needs. Whether your system has become cluttered over time or programs have evolved, we help you reset and optimize Sumac so it works the way you need it to.

This service is ideal if you have:

• ✓ Large numbers of contacts to archive
• ✓ Old or messy data affecting reporting and search
• ✓ Duplicate or outdated fields and values
• ✓ Changing program needs that require database reconfiguration
• ✓ New data that needs to be imported or reorganized
